At the "Joint Efforts for Development, Shared Benefits for the People" Pudong United Front service for the people theme activity on June 20, Pudong officially announced the establishment of the "Tongxin Hui" service team and released ten key projects for improving people's livelihood. The service team is composed of representatives from various fields of the United Front, with four sub-teams focusing on legal consultation, innovation and entrepreneurship, science and technology, and health care. It will better leverage United Front resources, focusing on the needs of the people, and promoting the implementation and effectiveness of United Front projects for improving people's livelihood.

In recent years, Pudong has closely followed the people's aspirations for a better life, leveraging the strengths of the United Front to create a number of popular and heartwarming United Front public service projects. These include overseas Chinese lawyers providing services to resolve disputes among overseas Chinese, Qingmei enterprises and villages establishing partnerships for common prosperity, and the Heqing "Lan Jie Jie Studio" helping ethnic minority groups solve their problems.

The reporter learned that there are more than 3,500 ethnic minority people in Heqing Town, covering more than 30 ethnic groups including Miao, Yi, Hui, Manchu, Zhuang, Tujia, and Mongolian. Given the large number of ethnic minorities, diverse ethnic composition, and numerous conflicts and demands, the Lan Jie Jie Studio was established last year. In the past year, it has not only carried out various ethnic activities, but also provided services such as policy consultation, guidance on procedures, and psychological counseling, effectively promoting ethnic unity and maintaining social stability.

The ten key projects for improving people's livelihood released by the Pudong United Front further leverage the advantages of various fields within the United Front, aligning with the needs of the grassroots and the people. These include the "Heart-to-Heart Employment Project," "Heart-to-Heart Legal Project," "Heart-to-Heart Health Project," "Heart-to-Heart Blessing Project," "Heart-to-Heart Arts Project," "Heart-to-Heart Respect for the Elderly Project," "Heart-to-Heart Pomegranate Project," "Heart-to-Heart Rural Project," "Heart-to-Heart Public Welfare Project," and "Heart-to-Heart Common Prosperity Project." These projects form an "on-demand" service that extends to communities, industrial parks, and rural areas, addressing the needs and concerns of the people and improving their lives.

A United Front public service fair was also held at the event, with nearly 30 service booths attracting many visitors. These booths offered professional consultations on policies, medical care, and legal matters, as well as convenient services such as traditional Chinese medicine consultations and eyeglass fittings. There were also public displays of intangible cultural heritage and products from poverty alleviation support programs in rural areas, along with interactive activities such as quizzes on ethnic minority knowledge. The first legal lecture of the "Tongxin Hui" service team was also held that day, with You Minjian, a member of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice president of the Pudong Intellectuals' Association, giving a special presentation on "Enterprise Intellectual Property Management" to companies in the industrial park.

Fang Jiansen, deputy director of the Municipal Committee of the United Front Work Department, stated that currently, various democratic parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, non-party individuals, and members of the new social strata are carrying out the theme education of "Strengthening the Foundation, Uniting and Striving Forward on a New Journey." Public welfare projects should be incorporated into the theme education to further consolidate the common ideological and political foundation for united struggle. Careful organization is needed to ensure the implementation of public welfare projects, implementing each one effectively to further enhance the sense of gain and happiness among residents. More than 500 people attended the event, including representatives from the district committees of various democratic parties and United Front organizations, as well as employees of industrial park enterprises and residents from surrounding communities.
